Our Journey: How Kings of Games Started

Every business has a story, and this is ours.

Kings of Games wasn't created in a boardroom or by a large company. It started with something much more important – a parent wanting to make their child's dream come true.

Many years ago, we were living in Ashford, Kent, and our son absolutely loved gaming. Like many children, he dreamed of having a gaming truck come to his birthday party. We started looking around for local options, but we quickly discovered that there wasn't anything that truly impressed us. The trucks available at the time didn't offer the experience, quality, or family-friendly atmosphere we were hoping for.

Instead of simply accepting what was available, we started asking ourselves a question:

"What if we created the gaming truck we would want for our own child?"

At the time, it sounded like a crazy idea.

We both had stable jobs, a comfortable routine, and no experience running a mobile gaming business. But the idea wouldn't leave us alone. We spent countless evenings researching, sketching ideas, and imagining what the perfect gaming truck could look like.

Eventually, we made a life-changing decision.

We quit our jobs.

It was a huge risk. Friends and family thought we were brave, and some probably thought we were a little bit mad. But we believed in our vision.

We bought a truck and started the hard work of transforming it into something special. Every part of the conversion was carefully planned. We wanted more than just a vehicle filled with games. We wanted an experience that would make children smile from the moment they saw it arrive.

As our family grew and our business developed, we made another big decision. We moved with our children from Ashford, Kent, to the beautiful seaside village of Caister-on-Sea in Norfolk. Surrounded by stunning beaches, fresh sea air, and a wonderful local community, Norfolk became the perfect place to continue building our dream.

There were long days, late nights, challenges, setbacks, and plenty of moments where we wondered if we had taken on too much. But with every obstacle, we became more determined to create something unique.

Slowly, Kings of Games began to take shape.

Our goal was simple: create a mobile gaming experience that combined the latest technology, a welcoming atmosphere, and unforgettable memories. We focused on quality, comfort, safety, and making every child feel like the star of their own special event.

What started as an idea inspired by our son soon became something much bigger.

Today, Kings of Games has brought smiles to thousands of children and families across Norfolk and beyond. We've attended birthdays, school events, community celebrations, and special occasions, creating memories that families talk about long after the games have ended.

We are incredibly grateful to every family who has trusted us to be part of their celebrations. Your support has helped turn a dream into a successful family business.

The best part?

We still see the same excitement in children's faces today that inspired us all those years ago in Ashford.

Kings of Games was built by parents, for families, and every event we host is treated with the same care and attention that we would want for our own child.
